DMX was taken to his new place of rest on 9 day April 2021, in a his white plains hospital. The cause of his death is believed to be a drug overdose. At the age of fourteen, his addiction to cocaine was evident. He also suffered from bipolar disorder and was being treated in and out of rehab center for addiction. As a result of a poisoning the patient was unconscious and then was diagnosed with cerebral hypoxia. In the course of his death, as a result of overdose the patient suffered multiple organ injury and passed away at the age of 50 years. In an official statement the cause of death was caused by cocaine and a heart attack. The family was devastated as well as millions of supporters in shock.
